Data erasure is the permanent and irreversible removal of all data from information carriers such as laptops, servers, hard drives and other IT equipment. This process goes beyond simple formatting or deletion, where data can often still be recovered.

How does data erasure work with Blancco software?

Blancco software overwrites all data multiple times with zeros and ones according to strict security standards. After the erasure process, the software automatically verifies that all sectors have been successfully overwritten.

For each information carrier, you receive a tamper-proof, detailed certificate confirming that the data erasure has been 100% completed. This certificate contains serial numbers, system components and a complete audit trail.
