    • Products only come from official partner distributors in the EU.

Delivery

  • Pickup of products
    • Warehouse in Wijchen, Send a copy of your driver's license, license plate number and then receive a pickup number. Allow about 4 hours for the products to be prepared.

Taxes

  • Why is my VAT transferred when ordering?
    • Products are shipped from the Netherlands, but the warehouse, employees and logistics are outsourced. TechOutlet has no permanent establishment in the Netherlands but only sales activities. Therefore the VAT is transferred and seen as an intra-community supply.
  • When is VAT transferred?
    • Sale of electronic devices such as mobile phones and laptops with a total value above €10,000 EX VAT, 'VAT transferred'
    • To companies with a valid VAT number in the EU or outside.
  • Tax benefit business laptop
    • You purchase a computer and estimate that you use it for 80%. Purchase: The computer costs € 7,000, excluding € 1,470 VAT. Of this VAT you have  € 1,176 (80% x € 1,470) deducted.
       Use and maintenance:  For use and maintenance you spend € 1,100 annually, excluding € 231 VAT. This € 231 you have fully deducted.

Reinstalled your laptop and lost your BitLocker key?

A BitLocker recovery key is needed when BitLocker cannot automatically unlock an encrypted drive in Windows. This key, a 48-digit number, is used to regain access to the drive.

Where can I find a BitLocker recovery key?

There are several places where your recovery key may be located, depending on the choice made when activating BitLocker. Expand each section for more information:

  • Microsoft account
    • If a backup of the BitLocker recovery key was made to your Microsoft account, follow these steps to retrieve it:
    • From another device, open a web browser and go to https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey
    • Sign in with your Microsoft account and look for the key ID
    • BitLocker recovery keys Microsoft account
    • Use the related recovery key to unlock the drive
  • Work or school account
    • If your device was ever signed in to an organization with a work or school account, the recovery key may be stored in that organization's account.
    • You may have direct access to it, or you may need to contact IT support for that organization to gain access to your recovery key.
    • From another device, open a web browser and go to https://aka.ms/aadrecoverykey
    • Sign in with your work or school account
    • Select Devices and expand the device for which you need to retrieve the recovery key
    • BitLocker recovery keys work/school account
    • Select the Show BitLocker keys option
    • Using the key ID, find the related recovery key and use it to unlock the drive
